Rule 31 (a)

Here is rule 31(a)

31. (a) In the event of the Stewards being satisfied that the result of a race has been
materially affected due to a contingency arising they may, at their sole and absolute
discretion, declare any race to be null and void or any horse or horses to be non-starter
(s), even after the same is run, provided however, that the weighed in or All Clear signal
has not been hoisted.

Above is rule 31 (a) lets break it up and see if justice has really been done.

1) In the event of the Stewards being satisfied that the result of a race has been
materially affected due to a contingency arising they may, at their sole and absolute
discretion, declare any race to be null and void or any horse or horses to be non-starter(s), even after the same is run, provided however, that the weighed in or All Clear signal has not been hoisted.

Above I have highlighted 4 points that link the sentence now lets see if any of them apply to the race in question.

A) materially affected : means the steward have to be SATISFIED that a party or parties have to have a materialistic gain at the time of making this decision they can proceed with the next step ,
Lets See if the stewards have fulfilled the criteria in their report... here is the report ::::::::::: the Stewards decided to invoke Rule 31(b) by declaring all bets on the race to be null and void as the circumstances presented prima facie evidence that the race was not fairly run with the favourite subject to an apparent malpractice. The decision was taken in the interest of the betting public and in view of the exceptional circumstances.
The term prima facie means : At first sight; before closer inspection , Evident without proof or reasoning; as it seems at first;

Clearly the meaning guilty at first sight and not PROVED hence the term the steward have to be SATISFIED does not apply as satisfied mean knowing beyond reasonable doubt and in there own report they were not 100% sure of the fact or facts.

2) at their sole and absolute discretion, declare any race to be null and void or any horse or horses to be non-starter (s), even after the same is run, provided however,

Did that really happen and why not .................... Maybe i am getting carried away but this decision does not do justice across the board.

This is gross injustice to the common public as the decision was evidently made as the horse was the favorite...... If Welsfargo did not finish second the stewards would have disqualified Maripsa and M kharidi which would have given the race to the Favorite but as W Fargo finished second it was not possible for the stewards to disqualify two horses hence they had to refund the bets.

We all know that stewards are punters to if even 30% of the stewards had backed the actual winner in the race would they have voted is favor of this ridiculous decision.

As Far a N Lagad is concerned I have no respect left for the Man hope Karma Catches up.

Disgraceful

Pune 27 sept

For the sake of the punters I hope i am wrong today but O do believe today is a day of upsets Go VERY slow.

Race 1: Tricky VB Yowza, will win when asked to is tracking well enough to suggest fitness

Race 2: Mariposa, does not belong to this class should leave them standing if tried worth a punt.

Race 3: Once again the Favorite here is not Backable horse 3-5-6 hav a upper hand I am more inclined towards Honey Bee, who is running in her class for the first time today and tracking well enough to win make note.Silver Screen, is running her right distance today but in a lower class and weaker company and she can upset here should place by default

Race 4:Go Guzzi Go, Indian Summer, Toss up
Race 5: All the fancied runners had cut a very fast pace in race number 142 i.e horses 5-6-8 and I am not too sure if they have recovered well after such a hard race hence i am going for the well rested and well perpared Monopoly, to win from either Angels Glory, or Schnell, in what seems to be a nail bitter,

Race 6: Very open race however Hymns To Freedom, and Check Her Out, are my top two choices the latter would have been my first pick but the wide draw is the worry

Race 7: Looks Like a Imtiaz Sait Quinala Blumarine, was very impressive last time but has to beat stable mate Forever Young,
Tips; Blumarine, Forever Young, Upset: Alize,

Race 8: River StarRoaming Fame, Upset: Paris Hilton, (should place)

Pune 26th Sept

Race 1; best to leave alone however Hi Dolly, on paper looks good but the lookout for the flow of money here as anyone can win if the intent is there. I am going for a trainers whos horses are always on job and a horse that is improving with every run.

Race 2: The distance and draw will suit Ran Banka, best today and will be the one to beat. Alaska, is the danger specially if the stablemate wins the first race keep an eye.

Race 3: Moon Flower, is definately better the the favorite but will have to ward off Calling The Shots, make note in this set.

Race 4: Churchill, should win from River Rule, or Star Of Cardiff, note the latter can upset is a nice type.
Race 5: Too many first timers best left alone. Gloria, Strelitzia, and Zenyatta, are my prefrences
Race 6: Juventus, should beat his peers however horses 6-7-8-9 can make a race of it and keep the favorite honest.

Tips: ElmwoodJuventus, Upset: Spica,

Race 7:the outside draw and handicap will suit the running of Highland Bounty, hence my first pick to beat Ekhabinskya, and The Rising,

Pune 13 Sept

Race 1: The race should end up in the Top 4 horses Amberley, stands the best chance on Jockey merit. make note here of Festive Light, if tried can upset.

Race 2: Rags To Riches, is the one to watch here, her connections should try her today the odds in the ring will indicate that and if tried should win.

Tips; Rags To Riches, Upset: Saarah,

Race 3: Too many first times leave it.Tequila, is doing well on track and Benedictus, is a classy horse keep an eye

Race 4: Alize, and Sparkling Spirit, will fight it out Toss up later is a better bet at place.

Race 5:Angels Glory, Avec Plaisir, and Cairndhu, are my top three in this veryu open race going by the draw and jockey the latter does have a good chance to win.

Race 6: the winner of this race should win the pune Derby Mighty Crusader, in a smaller field and a decent handicap has a slight edge over Cabriolet, but I still think the Latter is a better horse.

Taips; Cabriolet, Upset:Mighty Crusader,

Race 7: Bad race follow the flow of money or take a chance eachway bet on Cyclades,

Race 8: Angelo,Ibis,

Race 9: Half the field looks to be only here for a run hence Hammerhead, has a slight edge however if White Hart Lane, or Solid Rock, are tried they will beat the favorite. I personally think the former will be tried.

Betting Radar: For a Total investment of Rs 1000

Race 1:Amberley, Win 30 Place 70
